Meet Our Team

Our team of dedicated career advisors is here to support you, every step of the way. Get to know our advisors and their areas of expertise:

Vladimíra Sedláčková

Vladimíra is the head of the Career Centre and is responsible for setting the direction of our services. She focuses primarily on planning and organising events, where you will often find her. Additionally, she manages our budget and oversees the long-term development of the centre to ensure it remains as useful to you as possible.

Katrin Stark

Katrin is the coordinator of our counselling services, a coach, and a career advisor. She is particularly responsible for managing our talent development agenda. Before joining the centre, she worked in adult education and in regional projects aimed at improving the versatility of unemployed persons for the labour market. In addition to her work at the centre, Katrin is also an external consultant in PR and HR, and the coordinator of the Palacký University Endowment fund, where she focuses on developing talented young scientists and academics. She enjoys connecting the commercial sector with NGOs and is passionate about volunteering. Katrin studied education and social work in Olomouc.

Dita Palaščáková

Dita is a consultant, coach, lecturer, and researcher in the areas of personal, career, and organisational development, transformation management, and leadership. In her work, she focuses more on finding solutions than analysing problems, working with values and emphasising the courage to be consistent and authentic—pillars of both personal and organisational success. At Palacký University, Dita is involved in creating a Leadership programme with a focus on shaping socially responsible scientists, academics, experts, and leaders. She is passionate about networking and building communities of people who share enthusiasm for their work, and loves connecting people, resources, and ideas.

Jitka Janečková Moťková

Jitka is the coordinator of counselling services at the centre, our main expert in employer relations, and is also a career advisor. She is constantly seeking opportunities to provide more events for you. In addition to her work at Palacký University, Jitka is the director of the Employment Pact of the Olomouc Region, where she is frequently in contact with employers and educators across the region. Previously, she spent many years in journalism, first as a reporter for Deník and later for MF Dnes and iDNES. Jitka studied social law in Ostrava, then journalism in Olomouc, and later marketing communications in Zlín. Today, she continues to participate in various management, coaching, and career counselling trainings. Jitka loves travelling, mountain biking, running, and keeping up with the latest trends in interior design; but above all, she enjoys life and meeting people who can enrich her in some way.

Nika Tótová

Nika is a great asset to our centre, handling administrative tasks and organising events. She is also responsible for managing the centre’s social media. Nika is a doctoral student, and also works in the non-profit sector as a social media specialist. She is currently attending long-term Coaching training and provides sessions under supervision.

Kristýna Pospíšilová

Kristýna is a coordinator of counselling services and a coach. She studied English for Managerial Practice in Zlín, followed by Marketing and Trade in Ostrava, but her heart beats for Olomouc. She brings practical experience to students, having worked in public relations at the Technical University of Ostrava and in the automotive industry before joining the centre. Kristýna enjoys meeting interesting people at the university. She loves an active lifestyle, spending her free time hiking, running, and socialising with friends. She is currently on maternity leave.
